Come celebrate the warmer weather at these fabulous April events:
Friday, April 12th at 7pm
at The Tank Theater - 151 W. 46th St. (8th fl), NYC
Something naked this way comes…
The Cyn Factory brings you William Shakespeare’s
Bardlesque; a night of Shakespeare, burlesque and Shakespeare burlesque.
Many of New York nightlife’s brightest stars were trained as
actors and now we’re finally putting our BFAs to good use by brushing
up, and stripping down, our Shakespeare.
Soliloquies will be stripped to, familiar scenes will escalate to new,
naked, heights and the bard’s most beloved characters will strut and
fret their way into your heart, mind, and chief reproductive organ.
Also, swords. There will be swords.
Starring Nasty Canasta,
Rita Menweep, Schaffer the Darklord, Peter Aguero, Miss Mary Cyn and
Iris Explosion. With star crossed stage kittens Cherry Pitz and
Handsome Brad Lawrence and saucy swordsmen Scot Ferra and Michael
Villiastrigo

Wednesday, April 17th at 9pm
at Under St. Marks - 94 St Marks Pl, NYC
New York's "Best Story Hour" (The Village Voice Best of NY) presents an evening of beautiful beasts and beastly beauties, as Naked Girls Reading presents BEAUTIES AND BEASTS.
The hit nude literary salon goes beyond the fairy tale with stories of
bombshells and brutes, sirens and savages, dolls and devils; horrible
monsters rescued from the jaws of lovely princesses; and some of
literature and history's most bewitching and most depraved.
Host Nasty Canasta welcomes Bunny Love, Jenny C'est Quoi and Jezebel Express for a night of good looks and bad behavior, as the Naked Girls prove that beauty is as beauty does at Naked Girls Reading BEAUTIES AND BEASTS!

Friday, April 26th at 8pm
at The Bell House - 149 7th St, Brooklyn

On Friday April 26 The Bell House transforms into a Moroccan den of
intrigue, cocktails, jazz, blackmail and burlesque, all inspired by the
classic Oscar-winning film Casablanca.
You are invited to a fully immersive evening right out of the golden age
of the silver screen. The year is 1941(ish) and the unoccupied area of
Brooklyn known as Wasablanca remains one of the last holdouts of freedom
against the marching forces of fascism. At The Bell House people come
to drink, dance, play games of chance and indulge in acts of subterfuge,
conspiracy and illicit liaisons - because in Wasablanca the drinks are
cheap, but freedom comes at a price.
Festivities will feature burlesque from Wasabassco, live music all night
by The Gelber & Manning Band; a complex struggle of liberty against
tyranny from ecdysiast playwright Nasty Canasta; and exquisitely
crafted cocktails, jazz age ambience, and all the period dress,
glamorous gowns, snazzy suits and fezzes you have come to expect from
Wits End. A party, a play, a show - Wasablanca.
Featuring Nasty Canasta, Doc Wasabassco, Don Spiro, Broadway Brassy,
Evelyn Vinyl, Handsome Jim Greene, Hazel Honeysuckle, Kita St. Cyr,
Marlo Marquise, Nasty Canasta, Sapphire Jones, and Stormy Leather, and
more. Live music by Gelber & Manning
